Welcome to The Welcome Series, a new series of short films co-created by Stand and Be Counted; the UK's first Theatre Company of Sanctuary and our brilliant team of creative participants on the Soap Box Coventry programme.

Over several weeks we have explored what it means to be new to Coventry and the UK, we have uncovered the best advice for new arrivals and shared our experiences of making a new life and home here. This new film series captures everything we think you should know, the good, the bad and the useful. Whether you are new to the UK yourself, working with people seeking sanctuary or you just want to know more about what it's like for people new to the country, we welcome you to watch.
